In India, after the introduction of chemicals (Fertilizers and Pesticides) in the last century, farmers were happy to getting increased yield in agriculture in the beginning.
But slowly, chemicals started displaying their ill-effect and making the crop more susceptible to the attack of pest and diseases, reducing the soil fertility and thus causing irreparable damage to overall environment.
